INTERVIEWS
About the interviews
All interviews were held a year after the 2011 Egyptian Revolution. Most interviews were conducted in English with a few done in Arabic. English transcripts are presented. All the women were very cooperative and candid with their reflections of the events of January and February 2011. Their testimonies about the events that are re-shaping Egypt now are an extremely valuable source of information shedding light on many unknown aspects of the revolution. The author hopes to extend this work and interview many other women in the coming years. |
